Simon is 1!!!

I can't believe it's been a whole year with our happy little guy! 

This morning he opened some presents with assistance from his sister. And in the afternoon he took a buggy ride around the park with his classmates. 

Copycat

Simon's teacher took these pictures today. He was mimicking how she was holding the book and she really thought it was funny. 

Picnic at the beach

We decided to have a picnic on the waterfront and ran into our friends Vania and Nathan who were doing the same thing. Our kids all played together in the sand and then picked up rocks to search for little (and some not-so-little) crabs. 

Henry's new house

Tonight we went to visit Hannah's friend Henry at his new house. The kids had a great time jumping and rolling on beds. 

Then Hannah and Henry played with rocks in the front yard.

Simon is about to move up to this room at daycare. With Hannah they warned us that this is a big move because there are changes with snacks and naps--but I think Simon's going to be just fine :)
